Greatest Power of the Happiness Advantage
“The person we have the greatest power to change is ourselves” (Achor, 2010, p. 199). “Once we start capitalizing on the Happiness Advantages in our own lives, the positive changes quickly ripple out” (Achor, 2010, p. 199).

An Inspiring Book
“The Happiness Advantage” is an inspiring book aimed to provide readers with a focus on how being happy can quickly influence others around you while increasing moral and productivity. We have all heard the line “my goal this year is to be happy.” Nevertheless, when I ask others just how they plan to accomplish this the consensus is simply to be happy. Often times this consensus seems to fail without specific tools and goals focused on how you plan to accomplish change.
Seven Principals of The Happiness Advantage
This book arms happiness seekers with seven tools that can be used to achieve happiness–not just with you but with others around you. The Happiness Advantage, The Fulcrum and the Lever, The Tetris Effect, Falling Up, The Zorrow Circle, The 20-Second Rule, and Social Investment are tools Shawn Achor presents in his book “The Happiness Advantage”.
